System and Service Planning

Strategic solutions for your services and systems

System reviews

We have extensive experience in system reviews. We undertake horizon scans, including literature reviews of best practice and jurisdictional scans of exemplary service models. We explore stakeholders’ diverse perspectives through broad-ranging consultation strategies and survey techniques.

We undertake quantitative and qualitative analyses using rigorous techniques. Options analysis and scenario modelling enable the exploration of future state opportunities. We crystallise our findings through clear, succinct reports.

Service planning

We have undertaken a wide range of service planning assignments across metropolitan and rural health services. We build our plans on a robust evidence base that includes population health and demographic analyses, analysis of social determinants of health, and current and future service utilisation trends.

Scenario modelling of service utilisation and capacity modelling enables us to explore and workshop multiple planning options with our clients. Gap analysis and consideration of exemplar models of care support the development of innovative and sustainable pathways for the future.

Strategic planning

We apply collaborative planning methods to assess the current state and seek innovative and evidence-informed strategic priorities. Through co-design, we bring key stakeholders on the planning journey to develop relevant and responsive strategic planning directions with targeted strategic objectives supported by an implementable roadmap.
